Our Process

There are many air duct cleaning companies out there but there are very few who clean using the proper process. At Healthy Air we only clean to the NADCA standards any other process will NOT clean and decontaminate your air systems properly. Cleaning Air Ducts is our only business and we take pride in doing it right.

The Healthy Air 15 step process:

1. Shut down the unit
2. Vacuum the interior surfaces of the Furnace/Air conditioner.
3. Clean the cooling coils with a HEPA vacuum and a coil cleaner.
4. Clean the blower unit
5. Decontaminate the interior surfaces with Sporicidin EPA registered Biocide.
6. Remove wall, ceiling and floor registers
7. Wash register with Dynamite cleaner and rinse
8. Plug supply duct openings with foam register plugs
9. Block return by placing filter in a plastic bag and installing in the unit.
10. Attach a negative air machine to the system.
11. Remove debris with a powerful spinning cobra brush.
12. Deconatminate cleaned ducts with Sporicidin, soot set sealent, and odor kill deoderizer.
13. Remove the bagged filter from the return and install an electrostatic air filter.
14. Remove the foam plugs from the supply ducts and install the registers.
15. Install solid odor kill in the return control to kill odors for up to 3 months.
